The Wine Appreciation Group (WAGs) has been running for over four years and is a fantastic success. At our monthly tastings a member in turn is 'volunteered' to select six wines and give a presentation on the region or theme of their choice. The 'volunteer' buys the wine and the group shares the cost at the meeting. The emphasis is on having fun and maybe learning a bit about wine. We judge all the wines out of 25, with 3 each for bouquet, value and appearance and 14 for taste. The range of opinions is astonishing!🍷

We've just had our third annual combined WAGs & WAGs Too Summer Picnic, with lots of fun, laughter, food and, of course wine.🍷

We would love to share our love of wine with other members, but unfortunately we are restricted to 15 members by the format of tasting and sharing six bottles of wine each meeting (ie 6 x 50ml per person). That's why we started the second wine group, WAGs Too.🍷
