The London Olympics 2012 started the Volunteer movement as people gave up their free time willingly to help others - and they found they Really enjoyed doing it.
People turn up and expect things to be done and ready, but nothing gets done unless someone does it.
We need about 12-20 Really Useful members who are happy to help, including in the kitchen serving tea and coffee, putting out or putting away chairs after monthly meetings, and anything else that comes up. The more , the merrier.
And, hopefully we'd have regular group meetings at a convenient pub or afternoon tea at someone's home.
Please email jean.paddick@gmail.com to 'volunteer'.

A Really Useful badge of honour...
Members of the Really Useful Group are already kind, wonderful and caring people. So, as a reward, after volunteering on six occasions you will be awarded your very own "Volunteer" badge to wear with pride!.
