    Each month the philosopher being studied is given a full introduction so previous knowledge is not necessary.  Part of the meeting is given over to a discussion of a current issue often in the news. Read more

  • Play Reading

    Our lively and friendly group does a wide range of plays, from restoration comedy and classics to ‘60s kitchen sink dramas and contemporary works - with the emphasis very much on reading, rather than performing. Recent reads include ‘Noises Off’, ‘The Cherry Orchard’ and ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’. You don’t need to be Sir Ian or Dame Judy (though we won’t turn you away if you are). Read more
