Once a year, we ask all the group members (about 11 at the moment) to forward two book choices as suitable subjects for the group. We then provide the library with these suggestions and they tell us which titles they can obtain, for a small charge - this usually works very well. Silwen then procuces a list of book choices and venues for each meeting for the following year.

At each meeting, the member whose book choice we have read, tells us about the author and why he/she chose it. We then all discuss what we thought about it - there is always a variety of opinions.
